I'll dominate 'credible fighter' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round match which will be streamed live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming bout.

Former two-time unified title holder Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge disparity - at Miami venue on 19 December.

Boxer's Mentality

"I plan to break his face and break his body up. My goal is to show I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.

"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.

"I intend to really want to injure him. That's my goal."

Civil Exchange

In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and social media star Paul - usually recognized for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.

Jake Paul rather attacked ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.

"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Serious Fighter

In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's pugilistic talent.

"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he said.

Jake Paul's Background

Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly fought MMA fighters or faded names since becoming pro.

He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

Still, the novice is still one of boxing's largest money-making draws, regularly earning huge paydays.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a stoppage in rounds four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.

Physical Difference

As Joshua and Paul engaged in the customary face-off, with their size difference on show, it drove home just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
